100 years of Maserati:
Founded in 1914 by the six Maserati brothers, this car manufacturer has
become a car industry icon synonymous with speed and elegance.
The first racing car built by the company, the Tipo 26, was presented at
the Targa Florio in Sicily when it was driven by Alfieri Maserati,
one of the brothers, who promptly won. Several races followed.
Up until the fifties, Maserati concentrated on building racing cars
such as the 250 F and

Mustang Big Screen Heroes
The Mustang is one of Ford’s most eye-catching models, of which the first edition was produced in 1964. Its sporty appearance makes the Mustang a true movie hero. The car was first seen in the classic James Bond film Goldfinger (1964), followed by several other big screen appearances.
The Mustang could also be admired in Thunderball (1965),
Steve McQueen in de film Bullit.
Bullitt (1968), Diamonds Are Forever (1971) and Gone in 60 Seconds (1974). These heroes have already marked their place at a unique show pavilion in which only Mustang Big Screen Heroes will be on display.

*" Eleanor is the trademarked name given to a 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1
for its role in the 1974 film Gone in 60 Seconds. "Eleanor" is the only Ford Mustang in history to receive Star title credit in a movie.
However in the 2000 Gone in 60 Seconds movie,
the new Eleanor is a 1967 Shelby GT500.
Pre-war Race Legends...
The very first car race took place in 1887, with the first Grand Prix debuting in 1906. Speed was already of the essence in racing’s early history, with the Blitzen Benz breaking the 200 km/h speed limit in 1906.
Drivers were completely subordinate to mechanics.
In collaboration with Pre War Cars, the Pre War Race Legends show
pavilion will be displaying the heroic speed machines of yesteryear
